And I quote? - Faith & Spirituality

And I quote? What happens when my mind wonders and things escape from my mouth!

Faith & Spirituality

"My house is not built of brick, it is built of man. The body of man is his temple. A temple built by God. God is the foundation on which we all stand. Raised up, sturdy and nourished in his blood. We are the House of God in which he dwells and blessed am I to be one of his many cornerstones.

He called the name of that place Bethel; however, previously the name of the city had been Luz. Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear, and I return to my father’s house in safety, then the LORD will be my God. “This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.” (Genesis 28: 19-22)
" - Khaili

"Boy: Who should I love more? You or my family?

God: Why do you need to choose?

Boy: Shouldn't we always love one thing more than any other?

God: I will answer as such. Love your family more, as they are my gift to you in abundance. You all are meant to share love amongst you for as long as you live. Whereas I am ONE and shall remain as one with all of you eternally. Loving them means you love me; therefore love is always balanced and given equally." Khaili

“Sometimes we feel that we are alone in our struggles and reach that end point. Your faith is what inspired you to acknowledge how you feel. When you get to the end of your rope; clasp your hands around every fiber and strand of the rope and slowly begin to sway. Remain steady in all that you do and you will soon notice that you have picked up momentum. Pretty soon you will discover that you have swung yourself back up to the safe foundation of that cliff you once felt you were standing at its edge.

When we have a short rope we sometimes feel a false sense of security because everything happens so quickly and very little has to be done. The longer that rope becomes the tighter our grip becomes and we find we have far more courage to handle than we thought. Someone once said, "Tie a knot, and hold on"; I add to that by saying keep swinging and climbing we will be at the other end of your rope holding on and pulling with you. You will not fall and prayer will not fail!

Though one person may be overpowered by another, two people can resist one opponent. A triple-braided rope is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)

You, us & God are your triple braided rope...” - Khaili
