Every now and again we say or hear something and can’t remember who said it or where you heard it. I want to be able to recall some of what I have said through the years. We all have “Ah Ha!” moments or those rare insightful quips that standout and make us say “Hummm?” You also never know if your message is meant to aid someone else or inspire a thought or action that can change the world so why not share it.
And I quote? - Guidance
And I quote? What happens when my mind wonders and things escape from my mouth!
Guidance
"Be a just man and not just a man.." -Khaili
"Engage in conversation, don't just encourage it!" - Khaili
"Some things sound backward but are logically very sound. Saying what you heard is often not the same as hearing what you say. Learn to listen to what your thoughts tell you and they will teach you to speak volumes." - Khaili
“Judge me not by what I can do, but by that which I am capable…I am not my Job title.” - Khaili
“It is not the importance of my relationship but how I relate to you…All things after all are relative; relatively speaking of course.” - Khaili
“When you judge keep your judgment honest by holding yourself to the same high standards…false judgment leads to self persecution, slander welcomes damnation.” - Khaili
“May my actions always speak louder than my words, may my character listen to the guidance of my spirit, and may my thoughts be as honest and pure as my first sight. I am the embodiment of all things great and greatness shall become of me. ” - Khaili
“Failing at success is not the same as failing to succeed. Failing to understand why you are unsuccessful only means that you are successfully failing. No one ever fails at failing, so no matter what the outcome strive to succeed.” - Khaili
"We all do our part, so that others might someday be a part of what we do!" - Khaili
"Simplicity is the best solution for complexity. Complication is the result of something someone tried to simplify." - Khaili

“The roads traveled by many had to start with a lone journeyman. He that leads the way is purely guided by wit, faith, fortune and failure. Those who follow do so by direction and fate.” - Khaili
“Be leery of your own suffrage as it will wear you down as a result of other uncompassionate nature. Compassion is a selfish act of being selfless.” - Khaili
“Seek not the answers to your questions, but let the appropriate questions guide you to their true meaning.” – Khaili
"A woman's mind is just like her purse...men should stay out of it unless otherwise instructed and told exactly what to get out of it; everything else is off limits and none of his business." - Khaili
“What do you know; right in the middle of finding myself I found out I have some of the directions written wrong. Good thing God doesn't use MapQuest or I would be totally lost. We all need proper guidance. Leading one’s self will lead to a path of endless circles or worst stuck in the same place. Let Go and Be Moved!” – Khaili
“If you don't have anything better to say then you have not been listening, thinking and learning enough.” – Khaili
“If people are not talking about you it says a lot about you! When people are talking about you make sure the conversation is worthwhile.” – Khaili
“Sometimes the answers to our questions are exposed by the very experiences that birth our inquiries. We learn to ask based on what we know and ask to learn what we need to know.” - Khaili
“I love how people believe they have the 1st amendment right to say whatever they want. Yet the moment their big mouth gets them in trouble they have the right to remain silent or plead the 5th. Say what you mean and mean what you say!”- Khaili
“I get nervous about my anxiety but people feel the need to tell me calm down its nothing to worry about…” - Khaili

“Boy: Father, I am now of age and you taught me all that you know.
Father: May I ask who taught you? How did you come by such knowledge?
My child if I told you, you would never understand and it would take a lifetime to learn.
Boy: Each day you say sleep well for tomorrow dawns a new day with much to learn. And day after day I rise only to do more and more work. I have farmed and harvested the land. Each day I sleep and rise. I lived and hunted amongst animals, so that we may be cloth and fed. Each day I sleep and rise. I have left the mark of my life for my generations to grow and prosper. Each day I sleep and rise. I have fashioned elements of the earth to do my biding. Each day I sleep and rise. What more shall I have to do to prove that I am worthy of your teachings?! When will my work end and my learning begin?
Father: All the things I have to teach you shall come one day at a time. Your work today builds better tomorrows. When the day comes that you no longer have work to complete, it shall be your final time to rest and you will have learned that it is our work that teaches us our greatest lesions. Doing what you know is not always the same as knowing what you are doing.”
– Khaili
“Subtract the negativity from your life and your blessing will seem to multiply, you will add years of happiness to your life and your heart, soul and mind will no longer feel divided. You do the math, you’ll see everything counts but it all comes back to ONE.” – Khaili
“Turning your back, will merely change your perspective temporarily, yet your perception will change forever. Your reflection on life is always best when met face-to-face. Just like a mirror, unless you look straight into it you will never clearly see what's in it.” – Khaili
“Growth is an action as well as a state of mind.” – Khaili
“No matter how old we get, we always have some growing up to do!” – Khaili
“If you get into something, get so deep in it that it knows you belong there...I mean get all up in it. Get into it until you are part of it and it forgets what things were like before you got there!” – Khaili
“Today, I shall aspire to be King of the Scarab Beetles. Some way, somehow; I will get this sh*t to roll up hill and out of my way! But, I refuse to eat it! Remember the scarab represents the conveyance of ideas of transformation, and the renewal and resurrection of life. Be like the Dung Beetle, he takes sh*t and keeps on moving.” – Khaili
“...So you opened your mouth to taste the sweet drops of a summer rain...only there's not a rain cloud in the sky. Maybe that wasn't rain. Sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut.” – Khaili
“Where ever you go, there you are! But, it feels like I've been here too many times already. Need to find new places!” – Khaili
“Unfamiliar territory does not have to remain strange. Sometimes we have to learn our way by venturing into places we have never been before. You can start by discovering a new by getting lost within yourself.” - Khaili

"If you can’t think of anything nice to say…Think Harder!" - Khaili
"If life fails to open doors of opportunity; become a carpenter and build them yourself. A fisherman is only as good as his bate; and you can’t catch good fish if you are afraid of getting wet. A craftsman without the correct tools is an inept teacher; a teacher without students is an egotistical politician. Striving for perfection teaches us that our shortcomings lead us down unwanted paths." - Khaili
